When you become pregnant increases the amount of fluid in the body and the increased fluid in the body gives an increased strain on the legs which then easily swells up. The load on the legs also increases with the weight of the small tie. A good way to alleviate their discomfort is to use compression socks or support socks when you are pregnant. Put on a pair of FUNQ WEAR compression socks directly in the morning and keeps your legs cheering all day!

Oedema, fluid accumulation in pregnancy

When you are pregnant, the amount of fluid in your body increases and you often gain weight. The increased amount of fluid in the body's tissues can make it crowded around blood vessels and nerves.

Fluid retention in the body, or so-called edema, can settle in the legs, feet, ankles and hands and are common symptoms of pregnancy. You experience a swelling and immobility; it can be tight and sore in the most vulnerable places. Fingers can be hard to bend and the shoes hard to take on and it can feel uncomfortable.

Fluid in the legs and swollen feet when you are pregnant

During pregnancy, it is common to swell your feet, especially during the day. The heavier you get, the greater the risk of swollen feet. To reduce the swelling it is good if you put on your support socks or compression socks right when you wake up in the morning. Keeping your legs high when the opportunity is given pain, swelling and sleeping with the legs of a pillow also relieves the inconvenience.

The problem with swollen feet is greater in the summer months when it is hotter outside. To reduce the swelling if your feet warm days you can use comfort socks, ankle socks with support. To stand with your feet in cold water also reduces the inconvenience and is very nice for the sore feet.

Swollen hands and carpal tunnel syndrome when pregnant

Swollen hands may result in a pressure on the so-called median nerve that goes through a channel, carpal, in the wrist. The space in the duct can be reduced by increased fluid, edema, in the body but also due to hormonal changes that can occur during pregnancy. Then there is increased pressure on the nerve, which can hurt and cause you feel pain, numbness and tingling in your hands. If you feel the carpal tunnel syndrome, you can alleviate the discomfort by holding your hands high or pumping with your fingers. Also, try to rotate your hands.

If you have a lighter problem, wrist rest can ease the problems by keeping your wrist more upright. Carpal tunnel syndrome that is linked to pregnancy usually disappears for some time after pregnancy.
